High street favourite Hobbs have releases their latest collaboration with the Royal Historic Palaces, inspired by Queen Victoria’s childhood home.
The seventh collaboration in Hobbs’ award-winning series with Historic Royal Palaces has been inspired by Queen Victoria’s childhood home in London, Kensington Palace, and her renowned love of horses.
The Palace Collection features a number of exquisite textures such as the Royal Stewart tartan; passed down through several generations of Stewarts, today this is the personal tartan of Queen Elizabeth II.
Contemporary check suiting is inspired by Queen Victoria’s own tartan silk scarf, currently on display at Kensington Palace, while floral jacquards and prints portray the sunken gardens for which the grounds of the palace are renowned.
