Wardrobe Edit | Summer Versatility

Every month, fashion editor, blogger and stylist Carly Stevens shares her favourite outfit of the moment

Already a big fan of the jumpsuit, I’ve come to regard its younger relative, the co-ord, with as much love, if not more, over the past few seasons. With the versatility of a one-piece but coming in separate parts, the wearing opportunity instantly doubles, if not triples.

This top and culotte set from Mint Velvet is perfect for the manic wedding season I am about to embark on, but will work just as well with a T-shirt or jeans. I have plenty of plans for it over the summer, as I loathe nothing more than an outfit that can only be worn for special occasions.

I am still enjoying the pink love-in with these fringe-trimmed mules from Mango. Chunky, but with a hint of femininity, they are injecting a daily hit of colour into my classically neutral style.

Also adding to my accessory arsenal are some statement earrings. I have happily followed the fashionable herd and invested in this wood and acrylic pair from Wolf & Moon, which are surprisingly light, and I adore the simplicity of the design and the teal colour.

Lastly, as a self-confessed personalisation addict, I have gone for what has to be the ultimate bespoke item – a personalised bag. Everything about this bag from Mon Purse at Selfridges, from the fabric to the metal hardware and even the colour of the monogramming, is customisable (oh, the fun!). The bucket cross-body style is beyond useful and comes with a handy little pouch too – which I also customised!
